The folks behind the Skyrim multiplayer mod are back with new wizardry. This time the developer has created a small video for his next project. They want to create a multiplayer mode for Hogwarts Legacy. Apparently the developers have got it working on a basic level. You can see each other’s characters. Yamashi, who is currently developing the project alone (also known as Hogwarp), told PC Gamer:
Our aim is to figure out how to do the basics such as spawning characters with the player’s appearance, animations and NPCs,” Yamashi said. “We are not going to create any multiplayer specific content ourselves, we want to provide a stable framework so that people can enjoy the vanilla game and maybe extend it themselves later on.
Expressly, the idea behind the project is only to create the foundation and enable multiple players. Other dedicated multiplayer content is up to the rest of the players. Considering how warmly Skyrim Togheter was received, it is likely that this will also be a positive addition. You can see the prototype here.
