The head of the Ministry of Housing Michelle Sol, and the president of the Institute for Veterans and Ex-Combatants Benefits Administrator (INABVE), delivered this Tuesday, January 10, adequate and safe housing to 8 families of veterans and ex-combatants in the department of Chalatenango .
«The Government of President Nayib Bukele recognizes your courage and effort, he asked us to work for you who have waited for years, we know that previous governments deceived you, played with the needs of the people, ” reiterated the head of Housing.
Sol also indicated that: «We are complying, changing the houses of bahareque, adobe, sheets, for an adequate home with quality finishes with ceramic floors, French windows, bathroom and shower».
In this sense, one of the beneficiaries is Sara Valle, a veteran of the armed conflict, who expressed her joy and satisfaction, just like her, 7 remaining families in the sector also received the keys to their adequate and safe homes.
According to official information, the investment in said project amounts to a total of $129,623 and has benefited the inhabitants residing in the municipalities of Nueva Concepción, San Ignacio, Santa Rita and Tejutla.
Finally, the Minister of Housing mentioned that more than 450 contributions have been delivered nationwide, which means the same number of families, with an investment of $2.1 million.
