The much talked about strike in Hollywood is said to be affecting many TV shows and TV series but it seems that the production of House of the Dragon season 2 is on dry ground according to Variety. The reason for this is that the entire script is ready and no additions need to be made, and therefore the filming, which takes place in England, will continue as planned.
The series, based on author George RR Martin’s book Fire and Blood, began filming its second season on April 11, and Ryan Condal had this to say as filming began:
“House of the Dragon has returned”, We are thrilled to be shooting again with members of our original family as well as new talents on both sides of the camera. All your favorite characters will soon be conspiring at yhe council tables, marching with their armies, and riding their dragons into battle. We can’t wait to share what we have in store.”
