HOUSTON – The National Weather Service issued an excessive heat advisory for the entire Houston metropolitan area, as city officials activated the Heat Emergency Public Health Plan.

This time, the authorities issued the warning for excessive heat from this Thursday at 11 a.m. until Friday at 8 p.m.

According to the National Weather Service, “dangerous heat is expected” with wind chills of up to 112 degrees Fahrenheit.

The city of Houston issued its plan given that the wind chill reached for the second day in a row this Wednesday rates above 108 degrees.

Although this Thursday it is expected that the mercury will not reach 100 degrees, with the effect of humidity it can be felt at 112 degrees, which makes it a dangerous condition.
