Last year a new installment in the Skate series was officially launched. Previously it had numerous leaked given for the fourth part of the series, which has no fixed release date to date. While fans still have to be patient in this regard, there is still some new information about the upcoming skateboard game. These are from the latest video on the Skate YouTube channel. The video is explicitly part of the “The Board Room” series, in which developers talk about the upcoming title.
New information about the upcoming skate
A major focus in the video is on the activities the player community will be confronted with in the next skate. Initially, numerous challenges are planned for the title. These are quite short solo experiences, which are exchanged over time compared to the predecessors. In this way, the players are supposed to be forced to keep thinking about new ways of solving tasks.

While community events also focus on the cooperative, the so-called throwdowns to editable events initiated by the user base. The video explicitly mentions the possibility of starting your own event somewhere in the world with other people as an example.

Time will tell whether a result that is ultimately satisfactory for the fan base can be delivered. After all, the new skate dares to enter the Free2Play market, including microtransactions.
