Today we are going to chat about satellite internet. This technology has been a great ally in the communications sector.
With satellite internet, it is possible to access the network anywhere on the planet, even in remote places where other forms of connection are not available.
This technology has been used by companies, governments and individuals to connect with the world, whether for business or personal reasons.
To talk about how this technology works, the advantages and disadvantages in relation to other forms of connection and the impact it can have on different sectors of society, I spoke today with Leandro Gaunszer, director general of Viasat Brasil, with Waldo Russo, former engineer at Embratel and technical director at UNION telematics engineering, and with Fábio Jordan, an analyst here at Canaltech who tested Starlink’s internet!
