1. Via AirDrop

Apple’s AirDrop is an elegant way to send or receive photos to people nearby, and it’s super easy to use. Access Control Center by swiping up from the bottom of the screen (for iPhones with TouchID, like the iPhone SE) or down from the right corner of your device (for iPhone X or later).

  1. Activate the WiFi it’s the bluetooth on both phones and disable the Personal access;
  2. Then press and hold the network card (upper left corner) on the Control Center until it expands;
  3. Then tap AirDrop Control to enable it, if it isn’t already;
  4. select contacts only or All;
  5. open the app Photosselect the desired photos and tap the icon Share;
  6. Then you will see the icon airdrop as one of several sharing options. Select it;
  7. The resulting dashboard shows iPhones, other devices, or people nearby that have AirDrop enabled. Find that person’s phone number or contact ID and select it;

If you already had an iPhone and bought a new one, know that it is possible to transfer your photos from one to another. A simple way to do this is to back up your iPhone. And then restore the backup while setting up your new phone. There are several ways to achieve this, but the easiest is with Apple’s iCloud.

Using iCloud to transfer your photos is the simplest method. But remember: iCloud only provides 5 GB of storage.

  1. Login Settings and select your name at the top;
  2. Afterwards, tap icloud > photographs and make sure that the option Sync this iPhone is activated;
  3. Sign in with the same Apple ID on your new iPhone and repeat the process: Definitions > [O seu nome] > icloud > photographs and activate Sync this iPhone;

3. Via Finder from macOS

You can transfer all your photos and other data with a simple backup restore. If you have a Mac with macOS Catalina or newer, you can share photos from your old smartphone to your Mac. You can then upload them to your new smartphone using Finder on a Mac computer.

  1. Connect old iPhone to Mac or MacBook via cable;
  2. open the finder double-clicking the icon Hard drive and select your device from the menu on the left under Locations;
  3. In Copies of securityselect Backup all iPhone data to this Mac;
  4. Then select Back up now;
