Similar to some equipment items, there is more than one way for players to obtain the Sneaky Cloak, although one is more convenient than the other. First off, players can simply buy a Sneak Cloak from the Delibird shop in Leudal City whenever they want. However, the cloak will cost players 20,000, so those wishing to purchase one for themselves may need to stock up on funds before embarking on the journey to Leudal.
The second guaranteed way to get a sneaky cape takes a bit more work but it’s free. Players can find one in Hozkailu Town. The pokéball-object is located behind the houses and next to a tree in the west of the Pokémon Center. Of course, Hozkailu Town is quite a bit further than Leudal City.
What is the Furtive Cloak for?
The Sneak Cloak protects the wearer from the additional effects of moves. For example, if the opponent uses Ice Fang, a Pokémon that has a Sneak Cloak will never freeze. There are some moves that are not affected, as their “additional effects” are not considered that way. This is the case of movements such as Dragon Tail, Giga Drain or Drench.
