CDMX.- The Mayor Sandra Cuevas assured that she did not see the propaganda against the Head of Government, Claudia Sheinbaum, which was found by the Secretary of the Comptroller General of CDMX in the offices of Cuauhtémoc.

This Thursday night, the City Comptroller, Juan José Serrano, explained that 13 packages with newly printed pamphlets, with slogans contrary to Sheinbaum, were seized in the Department of Development and Well-being of the demarcation.

“I never saw those flyers that they say they found,” Cuevas said during a conference that she held early this Friday and in which she was accompanied by the opposition mayors Lía Limón, from Álvaro Obregón, and Santiago Taboada, from Benito Juarez.

“I do not go down, or at least today (Thursday), I did not go down to the General Directorate of Social Development.”

Limón described the finding as a setup by the Government of the Capital.

“With the logic that they act, they come to plant flyers at the Cuauhtémoc Mayor’s Office to make it seem like something that does not exist, there is no crime to prosecute, what Claudia wants is to distract attention,” he said.

Meanwhile, Taboada stressed that the City Government did not clarify what was the crime that originated the Comptroller’s operation and the deployment of more than 300 agents of the Secretary of Citizen Security (SSC), who guarded the property during the entry of the capital government staff.

“That is persecution, they get into an office with 300 riot police without knowing what the crime is for which they are persecuting the mayor,” Taboada pointed out.
