Since last week, Heidi Klum (49) has been looking for a new winner in the 18th season of “Germany’s Next Top Model”. 29 girls get the chance to present themselves to the model mom. The fans notice that in episode 1 there is surprisingly NO best ager model.
But it shouldn’t stop there…
The trailer already reveals that the current season will not take place without older models. However, these cannot be seen in the first episode.
Why? There were problems with entry! Heidi Klum still has a bunch of models up his sleeve!

Marielena (52) is the first of the latecomers. She already has modeling experience and even became “Miss 50plus Germany” in 2021. Now she wants to show off with Heidi.
The next candidate who has not yet been seen, but is one of the new GNTM candidates: Ina (44). She is the youngest of the best ager models. On Instagram she shows her muscles and fitness tips.
Another model that Heidi has not yet presented to the “Germany’s Next Top Model” fans is yoga teacher Charlene (51). It’s not her first time in front of the camera either. With her sporty figure, the best-ager model shows herself at various modeling jobs on her Instagram account.
Nicole (at 49, the same age as jury boss Heidi) has already built up a real fan community with 22,800 followers on Instagram and this year is one of the latecomers to “Germany’s Next Top Model”.
But the spectators can not only look forward to best-ager latecomers. Another candidate is Maike Lea.
With 10,400 followers on Instagram, she also has a considerable reach. She does not lack modeling experience: she has already walked at the Fashion Week in Paris. When she’s not walking the catwalks, she’s a passionate marathon runner.
It is not yet certain when the new candidates will finally be seen on TV.
But that they are a big competition… THAT is guaranteed!
