After several days of investigation, the Misiones Police arrested a 22-year-old woman identified as Beatriz L. who was accused of setting fire to the house of her ex-partner, a 39-year-old man located in the Altos del Paraná neighborhood of the town of Puerto Iguazu. The fire was registered last Sunday, December 25 and consumed the house in its entirety and damaged the continuous dwelling.

According to police sources, the victim reported to the police headquarters that on the 25th of this year around 06:40 a.m. he was alerted by telephone by his ex-partner that she appeared and caused the fire in his home, whose flames consumed the property in its entirety and They damaged the roof and ceiling of the neighbor’s house.

For this reason, a police commission went to the place together with crews of volunteer firefighters from this city who, for their part, worked to put out the flames and prevent the spread of the fire that was moving to an adjoining house.

Through the complaint and testimonies, it was established that the defendant would not be unrelated to the fact, which is why the Justice ordered her arrest and housed in police headquarters in the framework of the investigation.
