Immigrants arrested after intervention on the coast of Toa Baja

The Police arrested two individuals of undefined status this Wednesday morning after an intervention near the El Caracol business located on PR-165 on the coast of Toa Baja.

According to reports, some four people were seen unloading bundles of drugs from a boat. Authorities managed to arrest two, while the others fled into the wooded area.

The personnel of the United Rapid Action Forces (FURA) also mobilized to the place after an exchange of shots between the immigrants and agents.

A white Van bus, inside which there were tanks with gasoline, and the Eduardoño boat with two Yamaha engines, in which the Administration for Drug Control (DEA) seized nine bales of drugs in a Ford Transit.

Disclaimer: Initially it had been reported that three people had been arrested, however, later the Police indicated that they were two people.
