Indeed, there are many testimonials from people who have been scammed by fictitious companies claiming to be able to facilitate immigration procedures abroad. Recently, several operations carried out by the national police have brought down networks. The latter were active in the sale of fake visa appointments.

In the same wake, the elements of the national gendarmerie succeeded in dismantling a network, at the level of the wilaya of Oran, which promises employment positions in Canada in return for exorbitant sums of money, says the Arabic speaker Ennahar .

Immigration scams: the gendarmerie brings down a network in Oran

Indeed, according to the same source, the operation to dismantle this network was started after listening to the testimonies of 33 people. The latter have fallen into the trap of this network which makes them believe that they are capable of providing facilitation to get jobs in Canada. And this, for sums ranging from five million to one billion centimes.

In addition, this operation, carried out by specialized services of the national gendarmerie, led to the arrest of a man and a woman, aged between 32 and 50 years. The latter come from the wilaya of Oran and Constantine, already known to the judicial services.

The operation to dismantle this network also made it possible to get their hands on 9 administrative files belonging to the candidates, 2 vehicles, 7 stamps, 3 mobile phones, but also several passports.

A network operating in the sale of fake visa appointments dismantled in Bejaia

A few days ago, the elements of the police brought down another network specializing in the sale of fake appointment visas to France and Spain. This network, which targets young students, was led by a 44-year-old woman.

The latter makes her clients believe that she maintains relations with the embassies of the two countries, allowing her to obtain the visa more easily. And this in return for a sum ranging from 100 to 2000 euros. Another kind of scams, whose victims are our young Algerians who try by all means to leave the country to settle abroad.
