In broad daylight and in a sector of Tolosa with intense vehicular and pedestrian movement, three precocious thieves staged a brief but tense assault on a bakery.
This was confirmed yesterday to EL DIA by the owner of the “Siete Lagos” business, Sebastián Macewich (42), who is at the corner of 7 and 522.
“It was at 4:20 in the afternoon on Thursday. It all started when one of these kids, who must be between 16 and 17 years old, came here and asked the employee who was serving the public for a glass of water. But she told him that she couldn’t give it to him and she left, ”she initially commented.
Immediately, he revealed that “immediately this boy entered again, but already accompanied by his accomplices, one of whom had a firearm.”
It didn’t take them long to threaten the saleswoman with death and to go to the other side of the counter to seize all the money that was in the cash register.
In this regard, the merchant indicated that “one of these adolescents even gave the employee a push, to push her to one side when they advanced towards where the cash register is.”
“IT WAS ALL IN A MINUTE”
Macewich claimed not to know the amount of the proceeds stolen by the young criminal gang.
However, he said that its members “acted with their faces uncovered, they were wearing caps with a visor and they were wearing sportswear.”
But in addition, he specified that “the assault took place in just one minute”, which in any case left the salesperson with the feeling of having been endless.
The owner of the bakery ventilated, in turn, that “the day before, these same kids entered the cheese shop across the street, but since several employees work, they must have thought that their plan could be complicated and so they left without stealing.” .
From what Macewich was able to find out in the neighborhood, on that same day there were those who noticed the presence of the same young people wandering down Calle 7, from 522 and in the direction of 520.
Finally, he alluded to the fact that “we have been in this place for about a year and it was the only robbery. And I hope it’s the last.”
