“In addition to alcohol, he was ‘pipileptic'”: Waisman recalled Toledo’s alleged kidnapping at the Melody hotel

Alexander Toledo he was the protagonist of a striking incident in October 1998, when he was not yet president of the republic. After a suspicious disappearance of 48 hours, and given the concern of his surroundings, he denounced that they “kidnapped” and “drugged” him to put him in compromising situations. But, in reality, what would have happened that night is that he went into the hotel melody with five women and threw a wild party.

More than twenty years after this remembered event, david waismanwho held the position of former vice president of the republic during the Toledo government from 2001 to 2006, recalled what he and those around the former president thought, after learning about this situation from a magazine publication masks.

In September 2005, through journalistic reports of that year, a police report was made public with the testimonies of two receptionists from the Melody Hotel, who identified themselves as Job Príncipe Ayala and Héctor Ramos Ysusqui.

Both workers with their stories demolished Toledo’s complaint that he had allegedly been kidnapped by “Montesinista people” to damage his image for political purposes.

Before the police authorities, Príncipe Ayala and Ramos Ysusqui assured that the ex-president entered the place by his own means with five curvaceous young women, whom they identified as “Nataly”, “Itamar”, “Cielo”, “Carla” and “Raquel”.

“When I went up to the room to bring the beers and condoms, he (Toledo) was naked, sitting on the bed, accompanied by the women, also naked. They were watching pornographic tapes on television,” Ramos Ysusqui narrated.
