“Now sing and be happy” (8:15 p.m.): Christmas is just around the corner. Soprano Liane Rosen (musical star Patricia Meeden) and pianist Tristan Vogt (Daniel Fritz) want to perform Christmas carols in the city. But Tristan has to be admitted to the Sachsenklinik with sudden abdominal pain. Diagnosis of renal colic!
This means that Liane’s performance is about to end: she often had musical interruptions, followed by epileptic seizures – as before Dr. Maria Weber and Dr. Kai Hoffman. The doctors investigate and discover a tumor in Liane’s brain. Because the necessary operation is risky, Dr. Roland Heilmann for a guard operation, at which liana sings! The entire surgical team agrees.
For the cast quite a mixed experience: Annett Renneberg, who actually wanted to study opera singing, Andrea Kathrin Loewig, who also performs with musical programmes, Christina Petersen (musical training) and Alexa Maria Surholt (experience with a school band) were in their element, other colleagues, on the other hand, were impressed by their talent less convinced.
“Against all reason” (9:00 p.m.): Because a young man addicted to alcohol and medication is given medication for the withdrawal pain, there are complications during the subsequent surgery. Also seen in this episode: Vera Bader opposes Sarah Marquardt’s idea of bringing a bioprinting excellence center to the Sachsenklinik.
