In the search for a successor to Yann Sommer (34), Borussia Mönchengladbach has apparently struck gold in France. According to ‘Bild’, the foals are showing increasing interest in signing Jonas Omlin, who is between the posts at HSC Montpellier. The French first division club is planning a transfer fee of around seven million euros.

Problematic: The Pailladins still don’t want to let the goalkeeper go. The club is currently in 14th place in the table and is in a relegation battle. Should Gladbach still be able to convince the French of a transfer, the 28-year-old keeper could sign a four-year contract with the Bundesliga club.
