Under the motto “love life”, the high-altitude village of Damüls in the Bregenzerwald invites you to extraordinary events from January to April 2023. Discussions, films, an exhibition and concerts shed light on the nature of love.
The well-known winter sports resort of Damüls has come up with something very special for this year’s winter programme. Small but fine events deal with a central theme of life: love. what does love mean What types of love are there? How does it smell and how does it feel? Personalities and artists pursue these questions in different formats.
Illuminate the nature of love
“Let’s talk about it” is the motto at the start on January 6, 2023 in the Damüls community hall. Under the motto “Live and Love”, the topic will be highlighted during five film evenings. They take place in the Hotel Alpenstern and offer space for a small group of 16 people. Eight photographs, texts, melodies and scents are presented in the “Love Art” exhibition, which can be seen from January to April in the FIS Ski Museum. Musicians from the region play “Lieder zum Lieben” on four evenings at the Hotel Gasthof Adler. The “Love Story Evening” on March 17, 2023 in the Hotel Restaurant Alpenblume is all about listening and telling stories.
New love trail
Hikers are up and down the new love trail from Unterdamüls to Oberdamüls and can think and talk about ten questions while walking. On February 14, Valentine’s Day, the “Dinner to Love” will spoil you in the Nevo restaurant.
Accompanying podcast episodes will appear from January 2023, in which personalities talk about life and love.
