Neighbors of Gorina and Gonnet suffered several criminal acts in the last hours.

As this medium was able to learn, at least two robberies were registered last Sunday and another two already late yesterday morning.

Concern over the lack of security in the area known as “La Cantera” keeps them on alert, according to the complainants themselves who live in that sector.

Robberies have been almost a daily reality in the neighborhood for a month.

A neighbor assured in dialogue with this newspaper that “they attacked a neighbor with weapons, they wanted to enter the house and, since they couldn’t, they hit him and shot the car away.”

Apparently, the events continued in the “Paraíso 5” housing complex, where several criminals entered to rob the fourth, sixth, and seventh of the duplex-type apartments located on the property.

On 489 Street between 133 and 134, for its part, another situation occurred next to a school, where two intruders entered the patio and laundry room of a house, where they stole bicycles and other valuables.

Yesterday morning, the frontists pointed out, two other armed men on a motorcycle violated the access to a property.

In this sense, they added that “they broke a glass and entered in a very violent way. So much so that a woman was shot. Luckily there were no injuries.”

Security cameras recorded the movements where motorcycles and criminals can be seen loitering in the area.

At the moment, no one has been arrested and it is being investigated whether all these robberies have to do with the same gang.

“We are desperate, it seems like a liberated area,” they say in the neighborhood. They also maintain that they live in fear and that the situation “does not give for more.”

A BACKGROUND THEY SEEK

On Monday morning, another sector of the North neighborhood was disturbed as a result of a strong police deployment, which was carried out to arrest two subjects who resisted being identified at a police control.

According to the official report, there are two apprehended. They are two young people aged 20 and 25, residing in Villa Elisa and Gorina, who are accused of riding a motorcycle with an active kidnapping request for being part of the loot from a coup committed weeks ago.

The sequence began at 455 and 22, after police officers tried to identify two subjects who were driving a Yamaha Tenere after detecting a series of “strange” movements and suspicious attitudes.

It all ended at 456 between 20 and 21A, where the suspects were captured, one with a fractured tibia and fibula as a result of a police bullet.

Apparently, this situation occurred when one of the defendants showed a weapon, which was later found to be a toy.
