It is hardly a secret that Farmen celebrity life is not a cakewalk. Everyday life is characterized by hard work.

This week literally started with a bang. In Tuesday’s episode, you can see that Jan Tore Kjær (54) has suffered an injury and is bleeding from the head.

Kjær reveals that it could have gone really wrong.

Fell on the bow saw

During the week’s assignment, Kjær worked a lot with the stone house, which involved heavy work with, among other things, carrying stones. When he was out working, an accident suddenly happened.

He managed to fall and got a saw in the head. Kjær says that it hurt incredibly, and he started bleeding from the head.

– It could have been dramatic, Farmen tells the celebrity participant and adds:

– I was lucky that I didn’t hit really hard.

Kjær says that he was working alone at this time.

Continued to work

It turned out that Kjær only got a small cut on his head, and did not need medical attention. When he got a bandage on the wound, it was straight back to work. Today he says that he was doing well.

– If you get a cut, it’s over, says Kjær.

However, he received some reactions from his fellow participants. Many were concerned that he was going straight back to work after the accident.

See clips of the reactions in the video window at the top of the story.

– It’s like that when you see blood. People get worried. It wasn’t the first time.

He explains that on a previous occasion a rock had rolled onto his calf and he began to bleed profusely. Today, he still has scars from this.

– That house there didn’t cost any limbs, but it was awfully close several times. I have a memory for life and I don’t need a Farmen tattoo, he laughs.

– It’s like a birth, you forget it over time.

Wanted to contribute

Kjær did a lot of heavy work in connection with the weekly assignments, and did not give up despite the injury.

– What was special was that I came in as a challenger and it was about staying. I thought I would end up as the first champion at the first chance.

To prevent this, he did extra work to show that he deserved to be on the farm and be irreplaceable, as Kjær describes it himself. Despite pains here and there, he wanted to succeed in the weekly assignments and contribute extra to the community.

– There were a lot of people who contributed. Then there is always someone who sneaks away a bit, but that’s the way the world is. I don’t want to get upset about it.

See The farm celebrity Tuesday, Wednesday and Sunday on TV 2 Direkte and TV 2 Play.
