O Apple CEO Tim Cook was given a profile in GQ magazine where he talked a little about the process that led him to succeed Steve Jobs as CEO. On the subject, Cook recalls how the co-founder and former CEO of Apple liked to push all Apple workers to the limit.

“I knew I couldn’t be Steve (Jobs when I became CEO), I don’t think anyone could be Steve. I think he was one of those people who appears every hundred years. What I had to do was be the best version of myself.”Cook explained.

What’s more, Jobs’s goal in how he dealt with workers was always to encourage greater innovation, not just from a few individuals, but from the entire company.

“One of the things I loved about him was that he didn’t expect innovation or creativity from just one group at the company. He expected this of the entire company”, noted the executive chairman of Apple.
