Step.- An East El Paso woman, who had been reported missing, was found dead Monday, April 10, in the Red Sands desert area.

The El Paso Police (EPPD) is investigating the death of Michelle Morales-Nakaza, 32, as the fourth homicide of the year in the city, the corporation reported.

On March 31, a missing person report was filed with Pebble Hills Regional Command officers to trace Michelle’s whereabouts.

According to authorities, Morales-Nakaza was last seen on the afternoon of Monday, March 27, at the Baskin Robbins located at 12379 Edgemere.

It is believed that a Hispanic man may have picked up the victim in a white Toyota Camry between 2005 and 2007, since the woman was not driving.
