iOS 16.3 will arrive next week with some bug fixes and key new features. The latest software update for Apple’s mobile operating system is already rolling out to users on the beta channel. The public version should arrive on Tuesday or Wednesday.

What’s new with iOS 16.3?

iOS 16.3 will bring a good number of fixes for security vulnerabilities and bugs of all kinds. You will no longer trigger emergency SOS calls in the event of an accident for example, because the action will now ask you to hold down the power button and one of the volume keys and then release them to perform the action.

A bug that made wallpapers black would also have been fixed. Another bug that caused horizontal lines to appear on the iPhone 14 Pro Max has also been fixed. Some issues with Siri have also been resolved, including issues with music playback and requests from CarPlay.
