iOS 16 brought interesting news, but no software is free of problems. The proof of this is that users of the iPhone 14 Pro and 14 Pro Max are reporting the appearance of horizontal lines during the boot process. Reports point out that this bug started after updating to the latest version of the operating system of apple??

fix in progress

Through a thread on Reddit, several users began to report the appearance of green and yellow lines on the screen of the devices. The problem “kicks in” as soon as the smartphone is being turned on, with the lines flickering and disappearing a few seconds later, for no apparent reason.

Affected owners report that it all started after updating to iOS 16.2, while others claim the bug also occurs on older versions. Fortunately, an employee of apple already reached out to one of the users and said it was a software bug, with a corrective update coming soon.

For now, there is no specific solution to this problem, but according to some reports, disabling the “Always On Display” technology seems to solve (at least momentarily) the screen bug.

In any case, if you were one of those affected, we recommend that you wait for the fix that will be released by applepossibly in early 2023 with the arrival of iOS 16.3 or, depending on the severity, even before the end of this year.
