However, some users are not happy about this. Like Apple Insider, among others reportediPhone and iPad users write in forums that the new “Rebound” sound is significantly quieter than previous notification tones.
So far no response from Apple
The volume cannot be changed by the user. Apple has not yet commented on the topic – in order to achieve something in this direction, users can currently do nothing other than complain publicly.
Unfortunately you can’t change the default sound either. So for now it has to stay at “Rebound”; but who knows for how long?
Ringtones are loud enough in iOS 17
In addition to new tones for notifications, new ringtones for calls were also introduced in iOS 17 – iTopnews.de reported. However, you can also adjust the volume, so no one has complained about it yet.
