However, in some areas the opposite is trueas explained by the head of the Union of Superior Personnel of the Federal Administration of Public Revenues (Upsafip), Julio Estévez (h), who requested the immediate incorporation of personnel in the collecting body. He recounted that “as the years go by, the number of registered taxpayers increases by millions and more than doubles face-to-face inspection”.

The head of Upsafip assured: “If this decision is not taken urgently and a restructuring and modernization of the AFI is faced, with the consequent incorporation of personnel, the organization will not only have workers to fulfill the basic tasks , but we will not have qualified personnel to deal with the big tax evaders”.
The head of Upsafip pointed out: “We have heard from some candidates who maintain that We must reduce public spending, insulting the State, but it seems that they do not take into account that the income of tax resources in optimum condition is fundamental for the functioning of the country, which is impossible with a diminished plant and without sufficient training”. And he remarked: “We must make it clear that there is no A national state without a treasury, and there is no future in the treasury without qualified employees”.
He admitted that since the Covid-19 pandemic, AFIP personnel absorbed from functions of various ministries and self-governing entities and remarked that the organization “has currently become a super ministry for all the tasks that we must carry out.” And he admitted: “We cannot demand that Castagneto be able to improve the results or carry out the inspection tasks with the current human resources; not because they are not trained, but because there are various tasks to be accomplished”.
For this reason, the union organization demanded that the Executive Power “provide measures to direct human and material resources to the AFIP in order to strengthen the fundamental pillar of collection” of the country” and added that the organization is the main window for all Social helps”.
