During yesterday’s ordinary session, the Upper House dealt with the project that modifies article 2 of the law that recognizes the Higher Institute of Police Education (ISEPOL), as an Institute of Higher Education.
The approach was presented by Senator Enrique Riera, with the objective that the titles granted by Isepol, in undergraduate courses, degree courses and postgraduate programs are duly authorized and registered for the exercise of the profession.
The modification of article 2 aims to avoid semantic misinterpretations that currently make approval by the governing bodies impossible.
After the explanation of reasons and the debate, the project was approved and sent to the Chamber of Deputies.
