Israeli army kills three Israeli hostages

The Israeli military says it mistakenly killed three Israeli hostages during its ground attacks in the Gaza Strip.

Israeli troops accidentally shot the hostages after wrongly identifying them as a threat.

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu called the incident an “unbearable tragedy.”

They are now asking Israeli soldiers to “exercise extra caution” when encountering people in civilian clothes.

The killing comes as the Biden administration urged Israel to end its large-scale ground invasion and move to a more targeted phase of its war against Hamas.

So far, more than 18,000 Palestinian civilians have died in Gaza due to the Israeli invasion.
