The unsafety echoes again in the region and this time the neighboring city of Berisso is the protagonist after of the motochorros they have shot from behind to a young man 27 years to steal his backpack and the rest of his belongings during the early hours of last Saturday.
It all happened in the zone 25 between 156 and 157 past the 1.30, when the victim was walking alone down the street. It was from one moment to the next when two men on a motorcycle surprised him and intercepted him in the middle of a public thoroughfare, threatening him verbally and at gunpoint in order to get everything he had on him.
According to the account of official sources, one of the criminals got off the motorcycle and yelled at him to “give him everything he had”, followed by taking his weapon out of his clothes and continuing with the threats. For his part, the young man tried to resist the robbery and flee the scene, but this further enraged the thieves who chose to shoot him.
“He felt a kind of blow on his back”, said the police after the robbery regarding the feeling that the victim explained at the time of the shot, which ended up hitting a sector of his body that fortunately did not affect any vital organs. In fact, after running out of his belongings, he was able to walk to the Larraín Hospital on his own.
“It really was a miracle that this didn’t end in tragedy. It was a matter of inches”, said sources in charge of the case. For now, the young man is in full recovery while GTO staff is trying to investigate the whereabouts of the criminals who remained on the run.
