Like their parents, and despite their young age, the little princes of Monaco Jacques and Gabriella are invited to set an example. This was the case this Saturday during World Clean Up Day during which they walked the streets of Le Rocher with their father to collect waste.
After a well-deserved summer of rest, the princely family of Monaco has resumed its commitments… like Charlène Wittstock whose agenda in recent weeks has been very busy and Albert of Monaco who is also among all public events. And children are not exempt! If they have returned to school for a return to school under the sign of first times since the twins are, for the first year of their life, in a class separate from each other. A return to school captured from every angle, as each symbolic event in the lives of these princely children often is. Since then, the daily lives of eight-year-olds have once again been punctuated by public events. This Saturday, September 16, for example, it was in honor of an international day taken very seriously in the Principality that they were mobilized.
An important day in the principality
On the occasion of the World Clean Up Day, also called “World clean up day”, the Monaco Town Hall organized a morning of waste collection in the Principality. Starting from the Monte-Carlo Market, participants were invited to explore the most prestigious streets of the Rock in the hope of finding trash that had not been properly disposed of. The final destination was the Court of Honor of the Prince’s Palace, that is to say the place where the princely family lived. It was perfect for little Jacques, Gabriella and their father, very involved in environmental causes, who wisely participated in the event and led by example as Internet users were able to observe on the Instagram account of the Prince’s Palace of Monaco on September 17.

Symbolic gestures, and appreciated!
On photos of the daywe see the little boy and the little girl alongside their father walking the streets of the Rock trash bag in hand. A real team effort since their father, the hereditary prince of Monaco, holds the bag, while they collect the waste using tongs and plastic gloves. After back-to-school photos which moved Internet users two weeks ago, it is these new photos which made them admiring. In the comments, we could notably read congratulations like: “Finding a cigarette butt on Monaco soil is a real feat!
