You are currently viewing Janni Kusmagk: Janni Kusmagk talks about her diagnosis for the first time

Janni Kusmagk almost bled to death in her last two confinement beds. The uncertainty as to why that was the case gnawed at Peer Kusmagk’s wife. Now she finally has clarity and shares her diagnosis.

Behind triple mom Janni Kusmagk, 33, there are difficult times. The wife of Peer Kusmagk, 48, almost bled to death in her last two confinement beds and for a long time did not know why she almost died. A circumstance that gnawed at the happy nature and worried her. The ignorance weighed heavily on her shoulders, so a clarifying phone call and the words “Your diagnosis is exactly what you suspected” finally gave her reassurance and peace of mind.

Janni Kusmagk: That’s why she almost died

On Instagram, she described the situation to her followers in detail and also shared this diagnosis with the fans. “It’s a coagulation disorder. While other people who aren’t affected by it collect platelets faster and have a lot more blood protein, I don’t have any. That means my blood is thinner and my body gets worse during surgery to stop the bleeding.” This also explains why Janni almost bled to death after her childbirth, which is associated with blood loss per se. A woman typically loses about a pint of blood during and after a vaginal delivery. This is because when the placenta detaches from the womb, blood vessels open. And since Janni Kusmagk has a clotting disorder, her body was less able to stop the resulting bleeding.

But for the surfer, this diagnosis is not bad news, but an enormous relief after all the time of not knowing. “Bm. Clarity. Finally.” She expresses it on Instagram. “After I almost bled to death in the last two confinement beds and had to go to the hospital twice in a hurry, I finally have answers to questions that I kept asking myself like in a continuous loop.” There were always questions like “Why do I have these complications?” through her head. For which she finally has a suitable answer.

Janni Kusmagk: Your life with the diagnosis

Janni can live well with this coagulation disorder, because: “For my current life, it doesn’t change anything serious and I only break medication in the event of an intervention.” But the fact that she now understands her body better is healing. “And yet it fills exactly this gap to understand myself better, what almost cost me my life twice and why things were sometimes just so complicated.”

“Knowledge creates so much clarity”

She also appeals to the fact that health is the most important asset and that one should cherish and take care of oneself. “It’s also just another sign for me of how important it is to take care of yourself and that it’s only when you do it that you can take care of others. Knowledge brings so much clarity we should always dare To pursue things that keep showing up in us like a question mark.”

With her diagnosis, Janni Kusmagk can now look ahead “much more freely”, take care of her loved ones and simply live her life without having any more burning questions in the back of her mind.
