JBL announced that the Quantum 910 gamer headset can now be purchased in Brazil. The model was initially announced last year, with advanced features for gaming or other immersive content.

For this, it has JBL QuantumSPHERE 360 technology, which promises a professional level of 3D positioning to the player, through the USB-C dongle. In addition, QuantumSPATIAL 360 identifies the movement of the user’s head, so the surround experience is more immersive.

JBL indicated that the calibration of the algorithm is customized, and the movement sensor is made exclusively for this model. In this way, it is possible to implement “a fixed and independent sound environment, which enhances natural instincts”.

There is even support for active noise cancellation (ANC), which drowns out external noise so that the player is completely focused on the action.

The connector works through low-latency 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi, which promises to deliver an immediate sound response in games. However, it also works via Bluetooth 5.2 pairing.

Both connections can be used at the same time, where the dongle serves to connect to the game, and Bluetooth acts to communicate with other team members. In this sense, there is also a “Flip-up-to-mute” microphone, which increases its practicality when activating or disabling the voice.

The Quantum 910 Wireless features internal 50 mm Hi-Res drivers, with a frequency response between 20 Hz and 20 kHz. DTS Headphone X: v2.0 is supported, and voice equalization can also be done via software.

According to information provided by JBL, the battery of the headsets is capable of delivering up to 39 hours of continuous use. In case the power goes out, it is possible to charge and play at the same time, with the included USB cable.

price and availability

The JBL Quantum 910 Wireless can now be purchased at the brand’s official store in Brazil, for the price of R$ 1,699.
