The sequel to this hit detective comedy is unveiled through a first trailer. Directed by Jeremy Garelick, this second part is expected for March 31 on Netflix.

Netflix has just unveiled the first trailer for the sequel to Murder Mystery. In this second installment, directed by Jeremy Garelick, Nick and Audrey Spitz, the budding detective couple formed by Jennifer Aniston and Adam Sandler, find themselves on a private island for the wedding of their friend Maharaja, which turns into a drama.

To try to solve this mystery, Nick and Audrey Spitz will have to lead the investigation in the streets of Paris. On the casting side, Jennifer Aniston and Adam Sandler will be joined on screen by Mark Strong, Mélanie Laurent, Jodie Turner-Smith, Kuhoo Verma, John Kani and Dany Boon, who already played in the first part.

An effective first step

Released in 2019 on Netflix, Murder Mystery tells the story of a New York policeman and his wife – played by Adam Sandler and Jennifer Aniston – who find themselves involved, in the middle of their honeymoon, in a murder investigation led by an Interpol agent, Laurent Delacroix (played by Danny Boon).

Meeting a real success (viewed by over 30.9 million users only three days after it went online) this comedy by Kyle Newacheck was quickly renewed for a second installment. Murder Mystery 2 is due out March 31 on Netflix.
