Norwich, who are fighting for promotion again this year, are in need of victories and the draw against bottom team QPR was heavy.
Another team fighting for promotion is Marcus Forss Middlesbrough who beat Hull 3-1.
Forss was replaced at half-time as Middlesbrough were 1-0 down.
Middlesbrough are better off than Norwich in the fight for promotion and are currently fourth, one point behind third-placed Luton.
