Jordan Ozuna converts to Islam before traveling to Arabia and confesses what he thought of Benzema

Karim Benzema will soon head to Saudi Arabia to start a new adventure as a player for Al Ittihad. The Frenchman will land in the Saudi league after making history in Europe and he will not be alone in his new stage in the Middle East. At her side will be her great support, her best friend, her partner and mother of her fourth child: the model Jordan Ozuna. The Maryland-born she has put aside her secrecy in an interview for Yo Dona in which she talked about her beginnings in the fashion industry, her recent conversion to Islam and what she thought when she met Benzema.

From the Gran Hotel Inglés in Madrid, Ozuna sets a date for his trip to Arabia: “This same Friday I could travel”. She will be her first time in the country and she does not hide her enthusiasm, despite being a woman and what that entails. “I feel like an adventure and to really get to know the culture and food”. Jordan defends that he is not concerned “at all” and neither is the dress code that he has to comply with: “For my part there is no problem. It is a beautiful culture and I am delighted with the adventure”.

In Arabia, Jordan will be with Benzema and also with the son they have had in common after dating for a while. What relationship they have is difficult to guess and she does not clarify the matter either, although she has detailed what she thought when she met Benzema after making a trip to Lyon to visit her best friend, married to a footballer from the same city’s team.

When I met Karim I didn’t know who he was. I’m American, I don’t know much about soccer!”, he details. “From the beginning I felt that it was something different. Karim is an amazing guy. We laugh so much together… When I say he’s my best friend, I really mean it.”, he added.

conversion to islam

Jordan Ozuna will travel to Arabia converted to Islam, a decision that he thought about for a long time and that he has made possible in Madrid. “I have converted to Islam. It was here in the Mosque of Madrid. They recite the Qur’an… It’s a small and intimate ceremony. I cried like a girl. I am very sentimental”, he assured in the same interview. “I have researched a lot about this religion and I find it beautiful. Everything I’ve read about her has moved me. During Ramadan I read the Qur’an and it made me cry. I also read The Sacred Path to Islam (The Holy Path to Islam), about a Christian who converts to Islam, like me. A really beautiful book”.

About her young years, the model has confessed that she lived in Guam and Hawaii because of her stepfather’s destinies, but she was always clear that she wanted to dedicate herself to fashion. In fact, in her youth he took many photos of her and even her mother rented her a studio with professional photographers. However, there was a problem to break through in such a tough sector: her height. Jordan is 160 centimeters, “too short for New York”. “No agency wanted to sign me because of my height. But I knew a lot of people from the industry, stylists, make-up artists, photographers… They proposed to me when an opportunity arose”.
