Career of Judith Williams
On August 18, 1971, Judith Williams was born in Munich. At the end of the 1970s she moved to Trier with her family. From an early age she was on stage with her father, who was also an opera singer.
In Cologne she studied classical singing and in London she learned ballet at the London Royal Academy of Music.
As a soprano, she has performed in many European houses. Among others as Maria in “West Side Story” or as Papagena in “The Magic Flute”.
In the mid-nineties she had to end her opera career. After a benign tumor had to be treated with hormones, her voice changed.
So the singer was forced to pursue one of her other talents: selling. She began her career in 2001 at the teleshopping channel HSE24. In 2004 she even got her own jewelry format there.
This was followed by her own cosmetics, fashion and jewelery lines, which she represented at HSE24 with her company “Judith Williams GmbH”. Her personal product line now includes over 800 products and brings the entrepreneur annual sales in the hundreds of millions.
Reason enough to put Williams on the jury of the investor show “ The Lion’s Den”, where she has been providing the necessary female intuition for investing since 2014.

However, in February 2023, the entrepreneur announced that she would not be appearing in seasons 14 and 15 due to family reasons. She wants to take care of her mother who has cancer.

Judith Williams has been married to media entrepreneur Alexander-Klaus Stecher since August 2011.
Together they have two daughters and Stecher has two sons from his first marriage.
