WILMINGTON, Delaware — Hunter Bidenson of President Joe Biden, is found guilty of three serious weapons charges.
As CNN reported, a federal jury convicted Hunter Biden of all three federal firearms-related crimes he faced, concluding that he violated laws meant to prevent drug addicts from owning firearms.
This case marks the first time an immediate family member of a president has been convicted of a crime during his father’s term, although his crimes predate Joe Biden’s term as president.
Hunter Biden could face up to 25 years in prison and a fine of up to $750,000 at sentencing, although he will likely receive much less than the maximum as a first-time offender.
