30 years of Conrad Sohm, an anniversary that has it all. Hardly any other name is so associated with the club culture in Vorarlberg as the magnificent club with the address Boden 1 in Dornbirn.
The Conrad Sohm is unique and has significantly shaped the history of Vorarlberg’s nightlife. For founding father Johannes Rothmeyer, the motto has always been to reflect the current zeitgeist or even to be ahead of it. Just like for Hannes Hagen, who continues this tradition.

Anniversary with a wide range of local bands and acts
“The Conrad Sohm is a club of generations and always focuses on the audience. We made a conscious decision to represent the wide range of local clubs and artists for the anniversary,” informs the current Sohm boss. Because on Friday and Saturday, exactly those artists, DJs and acts that reinvent the pub in Dornbirn week after week presented themselves.

“A total of 17 different club residents and two local bands will be playing at Sohm this weekend and celebrating our 30th anniversary together,” explains Hannes Hagen.

Rothmeyer: “We have always stayed true to our line”
Rothmeyer emphasizes that he has always made sure to capture the spirit of the times and depict what is happening in big cities instead of jumping on a moving bandwagon. He was particularly impressed by the US bassist Stanley Clark, who encouraged him to start the Conrad Sohm project despite a moderately attended concert. “We have always stayed true to our line and have continued undeterred. Ultimately, our success has proved us right,” says the Sohm founding father.

Flavour Flav im Martinspark
The legendary appearance of Public Enemy is also discussed in the detailed conversation, during which there were difficulties when entering the country and Flavor Flav was almost impossible to get away the next day – also due to a legendary night, which like many others ended with a breakfast in Martinspark – a place that, like the founding father, is likely to be remembered by many national and international superstars.
