MIAMI.- The tour Maana Be Beautiful has become the world tour most lucrative of the Colombian singer Karol G. According to Billboard Boxscore, the singer grossed $307.1 million and sold 2.3 million tickets during the 62 scheduled dates.

The music magazine reported that during her time in the United States, Carolina Giraldo earned $138.4 million, which allowed her to position herself at number one in the annual summary of Latin artists for 2023.

In Latin America, the performer had 29 shows that generated 125.4 million dollars; while in Europe she scheduled 18 dates and closed with 43.4 million dollars.

“It is the most lucrative Latin tour by a woman in Boxscore history, surpassing Karol $trip Love’s own 2022 tour. On average, her earnings per show grew from $2.2 million on that tour, to $4.9 million on this one. Her attendance per show blossomed from 12,836 tickets sold to 36,371. And with nearly twice as much work – 62 shows across three continents, compared to 33 in the United States and Canada – her total gross more than quadrupled, from $72.2 million to $307.1 million, with total attendance increasing by 432%, from 424,000 to 2.3 million,” it said. The tour promoted their self-titled album, which was released on February 24, 2023 and reached No. 1 on the chart. Billboard 200a feat that the artist had not previously achieved.

Additionally, Karol G established herself as the first woman to top the chart with a Spanish-language album.

With this tour, the singer did not limit herself to Spanish-speaking countries. In Europe, she performed in France, Germany, Italy and more, an action that paves the way for other Latin artists.

The Medellin native closed in style with four dates sold out at the Santiago Bernabéu Stadium in Madrid, Spain. These concerts grossed $23.6 million and sold 220,000 tickets.

Luis Miguel will likely join them in the next update, as his current tour sits at $298.7 million through July 13. Additionally, Karol G is the first Latina woman to join the $300 million club.”

Since January 2018, Karol G has grossed $400.9 million and sold 2.96 million tickets across 128 shows, according to reports. This makes her the highest-earning woman in the Latin music industry.
