the anime of Kimetsu no Yaiba is about to return to the screen, and that will be at the end of this spring with the long-awaited third season, but now we will talk about its new special spin-off series, which is already available to all fans.
While the third season of the anime will pick up all the intense moments that happened in the second season of the series, which means that Tanjiro Kamado and the others won’t have much downtime when the new episodes of the anime kick off with the next big battle for the next Swordsmith Village arc of the manga of Koyoharu Gotouge.
Now, the new spin-off series will allow fans to play a little and learn more about their story in Junior High and High School!, a story based on Kimetsu Academy. This spin-off is a series of short films that imagine Tanjiro and the others as normal students of the school, showing their characters in other circumstances, and if you want to see this spin-off before the arrival of the third season, it is already available through crunchyroll.
What is this new spin-off about?
The boys are taken to middle school and high school in Kimetsu Academy Storywhich features seven different shorts lasting from 1 to 3 minutes each, where Tanjiro and the other characters in the series leave their usual intense lives to attend school.
It’s as crazy as we’d expect it to be, and it comes off as a unique type of spinoff crossover where characters who don’t usually interact can finally share more of the screen. The shorts are broadcast with subtitles, and have other languages in dubbing version.
