Twitter has officially belonged to Elon Musk since last fall, and the new boss has also turned the social media company upside down. Half of the employees were fired right at the beginning, many were disgusted a short time later under the threat of a “hardcore” work culture. But that was not all: Internally, almost all amenities were reduced, and the new management also came up with the idea of simply not paying rent anymore.
This has already resulted in several lawsuits and their threats, in Singapore the landlord of the local Twitter offices made short work of it and simply threw the employees out. Irony of the case in the Asian metropolis: The Twitter employees had no choice but to switch to the home office that Musk so hated.

Legal trouble is now also threatening in Great Britain and the British king is more or less directly involved in this. Because how CNN reports, the Crown Estate, a real estate company owned by the royal family, has taken legal action against Twitter. The accusation is now familiar: the social network is said to have failed to pay the rent for its London offices. According to a spokesman for the Crown Estate, the lawsuit is a consequence of rent arrears for the offices used by Twitter at 20 Air Street in London. Discussions are said to be ongoing between the landlord and tenant. The latter is an indication that Twitter wants to use the missing rent payments as a means of pressure to achieve a reduction in rent.
