It looks like Superman is getting four-legged company in the upcoming new movie that James Gunn is working on. The super dog Krypto has indeed been confirmed under joking circumstances by Chris Pratt in one interview with the Toronto Sun. The whole thing obviously sounds a bit absurd, but at the same time it fits well with the craziness Gunn usually includes in his films.

In that case, this would be the first time the super dog appears in a live-action film since he debuted in Adventure Comics almost 80 (!) years ago. You can read the synopsis for Superman: Legacy below.

“Superman Legacy will introduce a new version of Superman’s journey to reconcile his Kryptonian heritage with his human upbringing as Clark Kent of Smallville, Kansas. He is the embodiment of truth, justice and the American way, guided by human kindness in a world that sees kindness as old-fashioned.”

How do you see Krypto possibly appearing in the film, does it make you more or less excited for it?
