After a year apart, Kurt Nilsen (44) and Oda Rivrud (33) have found love again.

On Friday, the artist releases the song “Get Moving Too”, which is Nilsen’s first new song in six years. The song is a result of the desire to find things out and to move on.
– There have been some ups and downs in the last ten years. You live in a slow-moving wave of ups and downs all the time. It becomes like a little diary where you can reminisce a bit about yourself, and when you go back to a time when various things happened, songs suddenly come out, says Nilsen to VG.
Furthermore, he says that the new song is based on a more difficult period, where he has, among other things, been through a divorce and a breakup.
– That song has nothing to do with the divorce, it’s more about the last relationship. What is so strange is that… When it happened, a year passed. But suddenly one day I get a phone call. Then everything worked out again. It is perceived as painful when there is a breakup, but now I understand how incredibly lucky I am. All the stars suddenly played as a team again, he explains.
Nilsen and Rivrud met when they were both involved in Idol. After around five years as lovers, the duo went their separate ways.
