Last goodbye to Hispanic mother murdered in Boston Common

Almost a month after the death of a Hispanic woman who was stabbed in Boston Common, her family demands answers.

While the authorities are still investigating this case, relatives said their last goodbye to the woman on Tuesday.

“This pain hurts for a moment, she was everything to me,” says Madelyn Gonzalez, the victim’s mother.

A pain that no mother wants to feel, but that Madelyn Gonzalez experienced today when she buried her 21-year-old daughter, Jazreanna Sheppard Gonzalez, who died on July 20 after being stabbed in Boston Common.

“They took her, the street took her from me, the only thing I want for my daughter is justice, the only thing I want is justice so that they find the people who did this,” says Gonzalez.

The loved ones of the 21-year-old girl who wanted to be a nurse are devastated and await the cause of this homicide and ask the authorities to clarify the facts.

According to the Boston police, the person(s) responsible for the death of Jazreanna Sheppard Gonzalez have not yet been arrested.

The victim’s mother said that “she was fighting with a lady and the girl stabbed her twice and they killed my baby.”

The stabbing occurred in an area of ​​Boston Common around 11:30 p.m. Sheppard Gonzalez reportedly entered the Parker Street MBTA station after being injured, her family says she was there enjoying an outdoor event.

She orphaned a 2-year-old boy. Her brother remembered her as an exemplary mother.

“She was always with him, spending time with him if he made sure he was okay, if she wasn’t cooking she was cleaning,” Christian Valdez, the victim’s brother, said in English.

According to the Boston police, this would be a very active investigation, and they ask anyone with information to help find the person or persons responsible to contact the authorities.
