To bring this adaptation to life, British director Damien Cockburn has brought together three famous actors, a rapper and a young newcomer. Unable to manage the oversized egos of his star actors during the filming of an important scene, the filmmaker decides to change his method. The five actors are sent into the jungle and must manage to reach a given point. Soon, they can no longer tell the difference between the script and reality.

Thunder in the tropics : a 5-star cast for a totally crazy comedy

For his fourth directing, Ben Stiller has assembled a team of superstars, starting with his friend Robert Downey Jr., whom he co-starred with nine years ago in the drama noir et blanc. Alongside them are Jack Black and Nick Nolte who play Jeff Portnoy and John Tayback respectively. Actors Brandon T. Jackson (Alpa Chino), Danny McBride (Cody Underwood), Steve Coogan (Damien Cockburn), Matthew McConaughey (Rick “le Pineur” Pine) and Tom Cruise (Les Grossman) complete the cast of this comedy that will leave the Prime Video catalog on February 15.
