Heiko Richter, former vice rector at the Vorarlberg University of Education and now head of the newly established “School Workplace” project office in the Education Directorate, is the state’s expert on the subject of career changers in the teaching profession. The much-cited shortage of teachers is not only an issue in Vorarlberg, the Federal Ministry is also giving priority to this problem with the “Class Job” campaign. How Richter in Vorarlberg wants to win career changers for the teaching profession and what challenges there are will be the topic of the conversation with Marc Springer on “Vorarlberg LIVE”.

Thomas Waitz, Member of the European Parliament for the Green Party and organic farmer, will be presenting his new film on the subject of animal transport on Friday evening at inatura Dornbirn. In the short documentary “Animal Suffering on Wheels”, Waitz impressively shows how important it is to have a strong animal protection policy and to uncover abuses in animal transport. Animal transport, animal protection and the role of the EU in this problem will also be the topic in the “Vorarlberg LIVE” studio.
