Latina entrepreneur creates board game to practice English and Spanish

In order to help Hispanic families stay in touch with their roots, Gabriela Wadskier created a board game to reinforce language skills.

It is about “Vida”, a game for children that seeks to transform the challenges of multicultural homes with respect to language, and that for Wadskier is created under his three great loves: being Latina, children, and the need to spend time quality family

“I wanted to share these three things that are magical for me and combine them in this little box. I want both children to see it as an opportunity to spend time with the family,”

The game is about the story of a family of birds that immigrated to the North American nation, but they don’t want to lose their cultural identity.

The “Vida” project has three types of boxes that, depending on the age of the child, have elements and materials that encourage learning English and Spanish.
