Two years after their participation in Married at first sight, Laure and Matthieu are still as happy and in love. Having become parents of little Lya just a few months after their meeting, the two lovebirds regularly share their daily lives on social networks. Since Monday October 2, they have joined the cast of Moms and famous and reveal lovely moments of life, like their vacations in Corsica. On this occasion, the couple gave an interview to Tele-Leisure.
Laure and Matthieu had already refused twice to participate in Moms and famous on TFX
Tele-Leisure : Why are you participating in Moms and famous ?
Laura : After refusing twice, we said to ourselves that we would try it. It was also to get us out of our daily lives a little and do a little more activities.
Matthew : We also said to ourselves that we could bring a little more simplicity to the show compared to the other candidates, as well as our little personal touch which might please viewers.

Why did you refuse in the past?
Laura : We had a lot of things. We were in the works and we were wondering about exhibiting Lya.
Did you know any other candidates from the show?
Laura : Only Jesta. We met at an event and we hit it off. We talked a lot, she gave me arguments that made me think about the show. For example, she explained to me that it somewhat forced them to do activities close to home when, sometimes, they were too lazy to go out and that it allowed them to discover things in their region.

You live in Normandy. Where is your moving plan?
Matthew : We talk about it a lot on the show, so you’ll have to watch…
Laura : There is always talk of moving. In Moms and famous, we’ll find out where. All I can say is that it will stay in France.
You had done a lot of work in your house, yet…
Laura : Matthieu still has his head full of dust. He just demolished a wall and a staircase! The idea is to keep the house and rent it out so that you can come back from time to time. And since it’s so good, we say to ourselves that it’s good that others benefit from it!

What are your plans for the coming months?
Laura : Finish the house! And find a more stable pace at work. We went a little in all directions. After Married at First Sight, we had proposals left and right. We wanted to try it, but we got a little lost.
Matthew : We want to refocus on the essentials and disconnect a little from the networks and media coverage.
Do you make a living from social media?
Laura : It works more for women. It allows me to make a living from it, but it doesn’t satisfy me. In any case, I don’t thrive in this job, so I have to do something else on the side. For Matthieu, it’s a little sideline, but it’s not very present.
