Jürgen Drews lets it rip again and celebrates the end of his career with a big hit show. Florian Silbereisen has now revealed that he has been worried about Jürgen Drew’s health for a long time.

Munich – After more than 50 years on stage, countless chart successes and sold-out concerts, Jürgen Drews (77) is now officially retiring. The pandemic was decisive for his decision, but also his state of health. As Florian Silbereisen (41) now reveals, he has been worried about his friend and Schlager colleague for a long time.

Pop star Jürgen Drews suffers from nervous illness: “I’m not so resilient anymore!”

“Since I’m at an age where others have long been retired, I also said to myself, at some point, dear Uncle Jürgen, it’s good,” said Jürgen Drews last summer at Florian Silbereisen’s hit beach party. One of the reasons for his decision to end his career is his health.

Because Jürgen Drews suffers from peripheral polyneuropathy, an incurable nervous disease that primarily restricts the mobility of the legs. At “Das Große Schlagerfest XXL” Florian Silbereisen experienced how much Jürgen Drew’s illness, one of the biggest German hit stars of all time, really affects him.

In order to say goodbye to Jürgen Drews from the Schlager stage, Florian Silbereisen brings out the big guns. Therefore, on Saturday, January 14, 2023, he will be presenting “The Big Hit by Jürgen Drews 2023”. It starts at 8:15 p.m. on ARD and ORF 2. Of course, Flori and the “King of Mallorca” don’t celebrate alone. Also there are: Andreas Gabalier, David Hasselhoff, Beatrice Egli, Andy Borg, Thomas Anders, Maite Kelly, Roland Kaiser, Melissa Naschenweng and many more.
