MEven though most technology companies are laying off workers en masse, Apple does not seem to have given in to this trend and, according to CEO Tim Cook, it seems that this will really be the company’s last resort.
Apple’s chief executive said in an interview with CNBC that he sees the option of mass redundancies as a “last resource” is that “it is not something that is being considered at this moment”.
However, it is worth remembering that Apple has been more cautious with regard to hiring, seeking to save resources.
“We continue to hire, but less than before. We’re doing things right by questioning the things we spend on, and we’re finding some more ways to save.”Cook explained.
